The Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by the English philologist J. R. R. Tolkien.
It needs little introduction, if any. Personally, being not very fond of fantasy, I love this book - read by Rob Inglis. His actor's approach and very good pronunciation make this book invaluable both for those fond of Tolkien - and for those, improving English language understanding and speaking skills.
